It was a quick two round interview process that included a job shadow. They asked standard questions during both interviews, which were conducted via zoom in 2021. They also asked why I would be a good fit.

Found the job online and applied. About 2.5 weeks later, the HR generalist called me to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The next day, I had the phone interview with the marketing manager. They asked a bunch of questions, and it seemed to go well. The marketing manager gave me her email for any follow-up questions. Three days after that, I emailed the marketing manager some more questions but didn't hear back. A week after the initial interview, I followed up with Alissa the HR generalist and she replied that they hadn't made a decision yet. This whole process took two months, and then I got an email saying the position was filled.

The application process was pretty straightforward, and I got scheduled for a few interviews not long after. One interview got pushed back a bit, but it wasn't a major issue. There were several interviews spread out over 3-4 different days, which was good because they didn't make me do any presentations or anything like that. The last interview was on a Friday, and they said I'd hear back the following week. It ended up being over two weeks later, and I still hadn't heard anything. I followed up for an update and got a really short email saying I didn't get the job. Everyone I met was really nice and seemed genuine, but it was a letdown that I had to be the one to chase them for an answer. If people take the time to interview, the least they can do is let them know the final decision.

I had a phone interview with HR, followed by a 2-hour in-person interview session with HR and some engineers. They said I'd hear back in under 11 days, but it took them 45 days to respond, even after I emailed them around day 20. It felt really unprofessional. Honestly, even if they had offered me the job, I wouldn't have taken it because the pay was $5,000-$15,000 less than I'm making now.
