The interview was a sit-down meeting at the store. They asked if I had prior experience and if I knew how to do tasks like cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and decorating cupcakes. They also asked about my strengths and weaknesses, and my preferred cupcake flavor. The only downside was the loud music in the store, which made it hard to hear the interviewer, and I didn't quite get how the pay worked because they were speaking softly over the music. Overall, it was a pretty good first interview, though.

I got a call from the owner about the baking job and my availability. She was supposed to call me by a certain date but didn't, so I emailed her and we arranged a phone interview. The interview was pretty chill, and the owner seemed nice. She asked me to talk about myself, my baking background, my salary expectations, my earliest start date, and my decorating experience. Then she said she'd check with her partner and let me know by the next Wednesday, but she actually called me a week after that Wednesday.

First, there was a quick phone chat, then the manager invited me for an in-person interview. It was pretty relaxed and informal. I didn't have any prior decorating experience, but I was really keen to learn, and the manager seemed to appreciate my attitude. She asked about my availability and then offered me the job right at the end.

The interview was in a nice, relaxed setting. They asked some straightforward questions, but expected detailed answers. I was told they'd contact me in about 5 days if I was the one they wanted.
