Technical Behavioral

The interview process kicked off with an online assessment. After that, there was one technical interview round with the hiring manager, which included behavioural questions. The interviewer was really friendly, the whole process moved quickly, and I got the result in less than a week.

Coding

I was given a take-home coding assignment on Codility. I completed it, including E2E tests, extensive documentation, and code comments, ensuring all guidelines and edge cases were met. This took about three days and nights, plus a weekend, due to my existing workload. A few days later, the coordinator informed me I didn't pass, stating the assignment didn't meet the criteria. I contested this, asserting it met and exceeded requirements, and requested specific feedback. I received another generic reply citing unmet functionality and other expectations, which I maintain were fulfilled. I then provided feedback to the recruiter, suggesting they should respect candidates' time and dedication by offering detailed feedback, perhaps spending 20 minutes writing a personalized email for those who invested days in their assignment.

Technical Coding Behavioral

First, there's a take-home assessment you need to finish within a week. Make sure to include SOLID concepts, clean coding, and unit tests in your solution. If they like your submission, the next step is a session with senior developers where you'll discuss your solution and maybe do some live coding. They'll also ask about your past jobs and experience. Finally, you'll interview with the team(s) for a detailed review of your work history and to see if you fit the role. Be ready to go deep on parts of your resume. It was one of the better interviews I've had because the skills tested are directly relevant to the job. Unfortunately, I didn't get through the deep dive stage.
