Behavioral Technical Case

It was a pretty in-depth interview process with several rounds. They asked about fit, technical skills, and how I approach problems. The whole thing felt professional and reminded me of banking interviews. I got to talk with everyone on the team, from the new folks to the leaders.

It was 3 rounds. The first round was a 30min behavioral interview, which was pretty straightforward. The second round had two parts: first, a 4 hour case study where I had to build an LBO model and write a memo, and second, a 1 hour debrief interview. The third round was a super day with about 6-7 conversations.

The HR screening process involved a lot of back and forth with no updates, which made me think I was out of the running. I would have preferred more timely updates. Also, the HR hiring team wasn't very clear about their benefits policy when I asked during the interview stage. I'm not sure if they were trying to gatekeep information.
