First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Giant Spoon.
Account Manager
I applied to this program twice. My first interview went well and they sent me a link for a second interview. However, nobody showed up for that interview. I felt ghosted by this company and was very disappointed. I eventually received an auto-rejection email two months later.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a conflict situation?
Business Development Intern
This was a first round video interview with two members of the business development team at a small agency. They asked standard interview questions, asking for more details about my background experiences and why I'm interested in business development.
- What makes you want to work in business development?
- Can you tell me more about your past experiences?
- What is your specific interest in business development?
Account Intern
It was a two-step process. I had behavioral interviews with the managers. The whole thing took about three weeks from the first interview to getting the offer. Overall, it was a really positive experience. The questions were specific to my experience and tailored to what the job description asked for.
- Tell me about a time when...
- Behavioral, scenario-based questions.
Communications Manager
After I applied, a recruiter reached out to me and we set up a call for the following week. The whole thing was pretty fast compared to other places. I talked to one person who works there over video. Nothing was wrong with the interview itself, but the interviewer seemed stressed, making me wonder about the job's workload.
- Tell me about a time you faced and overcame a difficult situation or challenge.
