Last minute questions. Interviewers not prepared. So mostly waste of time and energy and not enough attention for a question to answer and then they are not ready for the answer to be answered and they don’t want it answered and they just don’t know what they are

First they asked about my past work experience and projects. Then, they asked a question about how to implement PyTorch in Python, specifically to design an image classifier and its training/validation algorithms.

I'm from another autonomous vehicle company. The first round was a phone interview where the manager asked about my background and past experience. Two days later, I received feedback and was invited to a one-on-one F2F interview with the manager. This was unusual, as typically a successful phone interview leads to a full onsite with 5-6 people. Despite the oddity, I attended. During the F2F, the manager focused on the details of my projects, my ideas, and the solutions I developed for our autonomous vehicle hardware system. I presented my work, and the manager seemed very interested. A few days after the interview, I was rejected. The stated reason was a lack of high volume manufacturing experience. While I had answered 'yes' and provided evidence when first asked about this in the initial round, the manager didn't probe for details during the F2F, instead concentrating on my system design work. I don't believe I made any mistakes in the interviews. I'm still puzzled by the unusual second round and what the manager was truly trying to assess – my overall profile or just the specifics of the previous company's solutions and ideas.

Confirmed questions3 questions
