Load Forecasting and Analysis
The interview process was super efficient and everyone was really nice and accommodating! There were two phone interviews, each lasting about 30 minutes and separated by two weeks. It was pretty casual and they asked around 5 questions during each interview.
- Tell me about your SQL experience.
Intern
The interview process was pretty easy. First, there was a video recorded interview where you'd get a question and have about 30 seconds to prep before recording your answer within a few minutes. All the questions were behavioral. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, which was really nice and casual.
- Tell me about a time your integrity was challenged.
Business Account Specialist
The interview process was really fast and short because I was a contractor. They needed to hire someone quickly. They asked me basic questions about my skills and work ethic. I was also asked what I would do if the manager asked me to conduct a V-lookup in excel.
- What would you do if the manager asked you to conduct a V-lookup in Excel?
Business Analyst
So, for the first round, it was a phone interview with two people from the team, and they mostly asked me about why I wanted the job and some basic stuff about my background. The second interview was kinda wild – they didn't have enough time for everyone to interview me one-on-one, so they threw me into a group interview with 11 people! It was like a panel with all the Directors from the department, plus managers and team leads from different groups. They took turns asking me about my resume, my Excel skills (specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUPs), and some behavioral stuff. No case studies or anything, but they mentioned they like people who are confident and have shown they can bring about positive change.
- If you could be any tree, which one would you choose to be and why?
- They asked a lot about Excel, specifically about pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other basic analytical functions.
