First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Getir.
Frontend Developer
The hiring process is a bit drawn out and the pay isn't great, but it is what it is. HR asked for details about my former coworkers, which felt a little strange. The steps involved an HR chat, a coding challenge, a technical interview, and then they checked my references before making an offer.
- Can you explain event bubbling in JavaScript?
Frontend Developer
So the whole process was: first an HR interview, then an automated technical test, after that an interview with the engineering manager, and finally a technical interview. I ended up getting rejected even though I passed all the interviews. The difficulty wasn't consistent across the interviews; the technical interview was way easier than I thought it would be, but the meeting with the manager was surprisingly tough.
- Could you explain the advantages of using Sass compared to plain CSS?
Front End Developer
The interview process involved three stages: an initial HR call, a case study task, and a technical interview. It took about 35 days to receive a job offer, which felt like a long time but overall, the experience was positive.
