Data Scientist
Got contacted by a recruiter on Linkedin. It was a 3 step process. The first step was a conversation with HR and the team lead, where we discussed my background and education without any technical questions. The second step was a short 15-minute meeting with the manager to go over my experience. The final step was a 15-minute discussion with the director, which was similar to the previous manager chat. The whole process felt very fast.

Data Scientist
So I had a really bad experience interviewing with this company, and I want to share it. If you're interviewing with them, just keep this stuff in mind. The first interview was a technical one, and it was pretty standard difficulty. After that, they sent me a case study to work on and send back within 5 days. It was a really big case study, and I spent two full days off and an evening working on it to create a complete solution. Four days after I submitted it, they got back to me saying they liked it and scheduled another technical interview to go over the case study in detail. During that meeting, I explained the case study thoroughly. About 30 minutes after that meeting, they let me know they were happy with it and we set up a date for a manager meeting. The manager meeting involved me explaining how the case study findings would impact business processes. The day after that meeting, they called, asked for my references, my salary expectations, and said they'd send an offer after checking my references. Then, they went silent for two weeks. When I asked if they'd respond, they said they were busy with something important and would get back to me with an offer the next week. Of course, I bought into the idea that they were a big company and stopped looking for other jobs, focusing only on this process. Seriously, don't make that mistake; keep applying for jobs no matter what they tell you. The following week, someone else from the same company called and asked the same questions they'd already asked me multiple times, and again said they'd make an offer. Towards the end of that week, seeing no offer, I messaged them for clarity. They called back, explaining the offer was delayed because the manager was traveling to America, and they'd have it the next week. Two more weeks went by, and still no offer. They had been telling me for a total of 5 weeks that an offer was coming, but they were just stringing me along.
