First, there was a Teams call with an HR person from the main location and the direct supervisor. This conversation was very timely, friendly, and appreciative. In another meeting with the direct supervisor and their direct supervisor, there was a small company tour. The last meeting was for the signature. Everything went smoothly and within a reasonable timeframe.

Application was processed quickly and appointment for personal interviews was made promptly. There were two in-person interviews - first general introduction, then contract negotiation. Overall, the contact with everyone involved in the conversations was pleasant. After the interviews and an oral confirmation from both sides, the promised employment contract was not sent the next day; instead, a rejection was received via email. When asked for the reason for the rejection, responses were very brief.

I applied for a job a few days ago and yesterday I had an interview for it. I got dressed up and went to the interview place and was on time. The person interviewing me greeted me and we started talking. They asked me some questions about my background and what I've done for work. Then, they asked me more specific questions about my skills and if I had experience with things related to the job. I also got to ask them questions about the company and the job itself, which was helpful. Near the end, the interviewer told me what happens next and when I'd hear from them. After I left, I sent a thank-you email to the interviewer. Now I'm just waiting to see if they'll offer me the job.

My experience with Gerresheimer's hiring process was unfortunately disappointing overall. The positive part was the quick start: I got invited for the first interview in July, and it went really well. They seemed very interested, and communication was friendly and professional during that first step. However, the rest of the process was not satisfactory at all. They didn't meet agreed-upon deadlines right from the start. Instead of the two weeks they said they'd get back to me, it took four weeks. They told me the original position wasn't a great fit, but there was a new role opening up next year. Then, there were multiple postponements: a second interview was delayed because a key person wasn't available. Eventually, a date was set about four weeks later, but it was canceled last minute on the same day due to 'internal processes.' A new date was arranged, but it was also canceled later because the position wouldn't be filled due to budget reasons. The whole application process felt like constant delays and uncertainty, suggesting organizational and decision-making issues. I didn't feel respected as a candidate. In conclusion, while the first contact and communication were great, the overall process left an unorganized and unprofessional impression. I can't recommend the company under these circumstances. Rating: 2/5 stars.
