First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Germer.
Administrative Clerk
The interview process was very brief and straightforward, starting on a Tuesday morning at 10 AM. I got an offer the following week, and the overall experience was quite relaxed and simple.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Associate
The interview process was organized and timely, and engaging with multiple partners. It was conversational and had multiple rounds, with the first one being remote and the second one in person. They asked standard questions and had consistent follow-up. An offer was extended soon after. It's recommended to really know what the firm practices to prepare.
- Could you tell me about your hobbies and interests?
Paralegal
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first one was a phone call. The second one was in the office, I met two people back-to-back. They then asked for my references, which I gave them. For the third interview, I went back to the office and met three employees and two attorneys. After that interview, it seemed like the job was mine. But after about two weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I sent a follow-up email. I never got a response. I took time off work and made myself available for all their interview requirements. The least they could have done is let me know if I didn't fit their criteria. I thought it was very unprofessional of the firm.
- Can you tell me about your professional background?
File Clerk
The first interview was with the office manager. Then I went back for a second interview. The paralegal and secretary from the group I was applying for were there. It was a very relaxed and easy interview process. They look for college students to fill this position.
- What do you want to gain from this job?
