First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gerent.
Salesforce Administrator
Had a bunch of interviews, all remote. Talked to people from different departments and then met with the CEO. The HR screening was the longest part and you had to get through that to move on.
- What are your strategies for effective remote work management?
Business Systems Analyst
Went through all stages which required one-on-one with HR manager, flow diagram presentations to two-team members, case scenario interview with two-team members, and a one-on-one with the Chief People Officer.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Human Resources Administrator
Recruiter reached out via email about my skills. After I shared them, I was invited to a video interview. The recruiter set a time that worked for her and didn't ask about my availability first. I had to ask to reschedule for the following week. On the day of the rescheduled interview, the recruiter canceled because of 'unplanned emergency meetings.' She said she'd contact me by the end of the week, but didn't. I followed up after her meetings ended and learned that the cancellation reason seemed questionable, she didn't try to reach out by her deadline, and her rejection email was vague about why the position was no longer available, not mentioning it was filled. The candidate experience was not good.
- Tell me about your HRIS skills.
Senior Software Developer
We did all interviews via GoToMeeting. The first interview was about the job, the company culture and my interest. The second interview was more technical, discussing Salesforce, software development in general, and web technologies. Negotiations were done via email, followed by electronic paperwork.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What motivates your interest in this position?
