First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Geosyntec Consultants.
Intern
It was a 2-round interview process. The first round was a preliminary phone screening. Then, a formal, in-person interview was conducted on-site. The interviewer was really nice, and the whole thing took about half an hour. Some questions were about extracurriculars and time management.
- Can you describe your approach to task prioritization?
- How do you manage your time considering your extracurricular involvements at school?
Intern
I had an in-person interview that lasted for about an hour. They asked me some questions about my resume and how I like to learn. They also presented me with hypothetical situations and asked what actions I'd take regarding data science and remediation.
- Can you tell me about a previous experience and what aspects you enjoyed?
- Tell me about your resume.
- What's your preferred learning style?
Intern
We had an initial chat about the job responsibilities and my interest in the role. Then, I met with the entire team for the second interview. They asked me a lot of questions about my background, what I'm interested in, my future plans, and what I hope to gain from this internship.
- Have you worked on remediation or in the field before?
