First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Georgia United Credit Union.
IT Intern
They reached out, explained the whole process, and I got the offer. It was a really smooth experience with no tough questions and they were super understanding.
- What are your interests?
Bank Teller
It was a simple interview with 2 of the managers. No money counting needed. Very simple and was great to express how I wanted to be a part of the financial world
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you want to work for GUCU?
Consumer Loan Processor
So I had this math test, it was timed. Then a phone interview which went really well. They asked me some scenario questions and we talked about my background and why I wanted to work there. The HR manager had me sign off on a credit pull and background check too. But then like a week before I was supposed to start, they told me it was pushed back because of the holidays. Then the week I was supposed to start, the HR manager called and said they weren't hiring for the position anymore, it was pulled.
- Tell me about your background?
- Why are you interested in working with a GUCU?
Learning and Development Specialist
Applied online and got a link to do an online Assessment. It had basic math and language skills, plus a personality assessment. After finishing that, I got a call to schedule a phone interview. That was followed by an in-person interview with the Learning & Development manager and the head of HR. The last part was a 5 minute presentation for the Learning & Development Manager and the team, then a panel interview with the team. The whole experience was outstanding and really transparent. They communicated openly the whole time.
- What is your approach when you lack the necessary tools to finish a project?
