First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Georgetown Cupcake.
Store Front Associate
Had an in-person interview where they asked about my customer service experience, why I wanted to work there, my availability, and how I've handled high-stress situations.
- Can you share your experience dealing with difficult customers?
Sales Associate
They talked about the company and its history, then they asked me some questions about myself. The interviewer was very friendly. My only issue is that they had to cancel the interview twice.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with a team?
Front of House
Had a quick in-person chat with the store manager. They asked some basic questions about why I was interested in the role, my past work history, and what I expected regarding customer service. It felt pretty typical for a retail position. The store itself looked really good, which was impressive.
- What makes you want this particular job?
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What are your expectations for customer service in this role?
Store Associate
It was a really easy interview process, and everyone at the store was super nice. They just asked some basic questions to get to know you better. It's a great option for college students with busy schedules. The interview was one-on-one, which felt more comfortable than other interviews with multiple people watching. I'd totally recommend trying it out.
- Why cupcakes, based on your resume?
- How would you handle a difficult customer?
