I was given a take-home assignment, asking for 250-500 words responding to 3 scenario questions, due in 5 days. I submitted it in 2 days, and then heard nothing. I followed up a few times and was told the hiring team was still reviewing. After 2 weeks, I suddenly got an email saying the position was filled. The communication was really bad.

I applied for the job way back in spring and then got a call from the campus security director. He asked me about my past jobs and if I could handle stress. He was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. He asked some funny stuff too, like if I could jump over buildings. After that, he said he'd let me know, and I ended up getting a call and an email saying I got the job.
