The interview was super chill. They mostly wanted to figure out what kind of person they're hiring and how I'd handle different scenarios. Overall, it was a good experience. The service manager was really friendly and easy to talk to.

An internal recruiter contacted me initially. We had a phone screen, and they said they'd schedule the next round within a specific timeframe. That timeframe passed without any communication. Then, a different recruiter reached out and introduced me. The plan was for 3 interviewers, but I ended up speaking with 10 people over 6 weeks. Around week 4, the recruiter mentioned I was the top choice and other candidates were on hold. They also indicated that if I was still interested after a site visit, an offer would be extended. Following the final round, which was a group interview with 4 people, the hiring manager asked if I was available for dinner with more team members the following week. I agreed and asked for the specific night. After a few days with no word, I followed up and was again told an offer was coming...then silence until a third recruiter contacted me about the same position. Soon after, I got a text from a former colleague from another company who had been involved in a major ethics investigation while we worked together and had moved to GF. The text implied they had shared negative information with management about me and, because I had contributed to them losing their job previously, they intended to block my opportunity at this company.

This was an interesting interview process. It was great meeting the team, and the whole experience was very well managed. They paid attention to the candidate experience, and the interviewers were really kind. They seemed particularly interested in assessing cultural fit and the balance between people and business needs.

The interview process was pretty good. They made me feel welcome. They explained the job well. I got to tour the plant floor to see the actual job I would be doing. They asked me basic questions about my past roles and one about a difficult situation, specifically how I handled it.
