I first spoke with the recruiter and it went well. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, and we seemed to connect. On Monday, the hiring manager called to schedule a 15-minute call with his boss, saying it was a formality before extending an offer. I mentioned I was traveling and busy, suggesting the next afternoon. They insisted, so I agreed to a phone call, explicitly stating I wouldn't do Teams due to travel fatigue and preferring no camera. However, it turned into a 45-minute Teams video call where they insisted I turn on my camera. The interviewer scrutinized my past job tenures (which the hiring manager already knew about), my pricing skills, and my ability to sell, implying few people can do both. When I followed up with the hiring manager about this, my email was ignored. This felt disrespectful, especially since they expected me to interrupt my travel for them on short notice but couldn't honor a simple request about the interview format. The call also ran long, showing a lack of regard for my time or that I might have other options. This experience gave me a clear sense of the work environment. I guess I'm fortunate to not have been hired, especially given they ghost candidates they make demands of and then fail to provide even a basic rejection notice. They shouldn't act like they have that much power over someone job hunting.

It was a standard 2 rounds - HR and Hiring Manager. Each took about an hour and covered basic questions. The HM interview was relaxed and felt natural. I heard back about the results within a week.

Applied and the hiring manager reached out. Interviewed, completed a test, then interviewed more after passing. Received the job offer and accepted. The communication throughout the process was great and they were helpful.
