Software Engineer

- Can you explain multi-level inheritance and multiple inheritance?
Engineering Technician
It was a really easy interview, I got hired right away. They wanted to start training me the same day, but I had to give my two weeks notice at my other job first. This job only needed a high school diploma, but I had a bachelor's degree. You'll have to take a basic math and reading test. Make sure you review your geometry, fractions, and conversions. It didn't matter if you took calculus in college, you still have to take the test so they can see if you can read and write.
- Regarding starting at the entry-level, why is that your choice?
- What information do you have about our company?
Project Engineer
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, and within a week, I had a screening call. Then there was a virtual interview with the branch head and other senior staff. After that, I was invited to meet the team and see the offices in person. They made an offer less than a week later.
- What are your long-term career aspirations, and what resources or support do you think are necessary for you to achieve them?
Geotechnical Engineer
We had a little chat about my resume and the company. Then, there was a SAT-style test covering math and reading comprehension. You had to follow the directions carefully. The test wasn't super hard, but you really needed to understand what the questions were asking.
