Software Engineer
I had one tech round that was about 1 hour. In the tech round there were tech questions. I was given about 1 hour and 30 minutes to solve a question. Then they asked me for pseudo code for a recursion and a pattern code question.
- Tell me about recursion.

Quality Control Technician
The interview process can vary depending on the company and the position you're applying for. Here's a general outline of what you can expect: 1. Application: You start by submitting your application online or sending your resume and cover letter. 2. Screening: After reviewing applications, they might do an initial screening, like a phone screen or application review, to narrow down candidates. 3. First-round interview: If you pass screening, you'll get a first-round interview, usually by phone or video with a recruiter or HR. This is to check your basic qualifications, experience, and if you fit the company culture. 4. Technical/Job-related assessment: Depending on the role, you might need to do a technical assessment or test. This could involve solving problems, a coding challenge, or showing off a specific skill. 5. Second-round interview: Doing well in the first interview and assessment might get you invited to a second-round interview. This is usually with the hiring manager or a panel and focuses on your job-specific skills, competencies, and team fit. 6. Behavioral/Competency-based interview: Here, they might ask you behavioral or competency-based questions about how you've handled past situations. They're looking for examples that show your skills, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and leadership. 7. Final-round interview: Some companies have more rounds, including more technical or cultural fit checks. The final round might be with senior leaders. 8. References and background checks: Before offering a job, companies often ask for references and may do background checks. Remember, the process can vary a lot. Some places might have extra steps like group interviews, case studies, or presentations. It's always a good idea to research the specific company and role to understand their interview process.
- How do you approach problem-solving?
User Experience Designer
I had an in-person interview at their office, which was quite nice. First, I talked with an HR person, and then I had a one-on-one with the head of UX. The HR person asked standard questions. I asked her if my skills were a good match for the role, and she passed it to the Head of UX. The Head of UX then told me I didn't have the necessary skills for a UX position there, which was disappointing given the time spent by both of us. I'm unsure why I was invited if I wasn't qualified. Hopefully, their hiring communication gets better.
- What is your motivation for pursuing UX?
- Could you describe your experience and background?
Designer
I met with four people total, three of them were directors in the creative department, and the last one was another designer. Each meeting was about 15 minutes, so the whole thing took about an hour. We talked about my portfolio and my skills with design software, which is pretty standard.
- How much experience do you have with web design?
- Tell me about your portfolio pieces.
- What are your software capabilities?
