Behavioral Technical

I applied online and it took about two months to hear back. The interview was pretty standard and the people were nice. I did a phone screen and then got an art test, which they liked. They said I'd hear back about next steps the following week. I followed up a week later and was told the position was filled but someone from my first interview liked my work and thought I'd be a good fit. I waited another week and followed up again. They said I'd get more info the next week, but I never heard back. This was in July 2018 and it's now December, so I don't think it's going anywhere. It felt like a waste of time.

Coding Technical

I applied online and the whole process took about a month. First, I had a take-home challenge that I had to complete programmatically within 3 days. After about two weeks, they contacted me for a Skype technical interview. The interview started 10 minutes late. There were two interviewers, and I was given two different coding challenges along with some theoretical questions. They stared at me the whole time, which made me nervous and unable to code properly. I explained my algorithm, but I made some syntax errors. They also told me to stop 10 minutes before the end. The coding challenge had a 3-day deadline, but their review took two weeks. The next day, I received an email saying they were not moving forward with my application. The whole process felt really sketchy.

Behavioral Case

A recruiter reached out about a product management leader role, with no job description provided. I then had an in-person interview scheduled with the CEO. The interviewer was late, making me wait 30 minutes past the scheduled start time for a 30-minute interview that ended up lasting an hour. They followed up the next week to say they were moving in a different direction. The company's mission is really strong, but the interview itself felt super awkward and uncomfortable.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview was really great and gave me a good feel for the consultant role. They explained some of the responsibilities, like figuring out what's needed, creating, putting together, and then running workshops, info materials, or special projects to fit what the community or classrooms need. Plus, they do individual consulting and advising for teachers on certain needs and on teaching methods/strategies in their specific field.
