Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard for a software engineer role. It included both technical and behavioral questions. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I'd consider interviewing here again.
- Asked several Leetcode-style questions.
Software Engineer
I had a phone call with the Head of Design, which was mostly a behavioral interview about my general qualifications. I did well enough to move to a second round, a technical interview. The interviewers were super late, more than 20 minutes. The questions weren't too hard, and they answered any questions I had. I managed to answer both questions, fixed up my code when we reviewed it, and even pointed out some potential issues with my solutions. After it was done, they said they'd get back to me in a few days about next steps, but then they just ghosted me. Totally unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about your tech stack?
- How would you find duplicate numbers in an array?
Scientist
The first interview, the interviewer was late and didn't contact me. I messaged them on linkedIn after waiting for 7 min. They then showed up, didn't apologize or mention why they were late and just got straight into "tell me a bit about yourself." They seemed a bit uninterested but otherwise the interview went okay. They told me they would get back in a week or so. A month later they got back to me and scheduled me for a second interview. I considered taking it to see if the second interaction was going to give me a better picture, but decided to decline and focus on other interview processes instead.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
Operations Analyst
There was 1 round, a 3-on-one interview. It focused a lot on work experience and projects. They asked about how I handled things, stakeholder management, and my strengths and weaknesses. They also asked about how analysis was done, what kind of data was used, and how it helped the business.
- Can you describe your past work experience and any relevant projects?
- How did you handle specific situations?
- Tell me about your experience managing stakeholders.
