First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Geneva College.
Enrollment Counselor
It was a long process. First there was a pre-interview, then a panel interview, after that a department interview, and finally an interview with the president of the college. These interviews were spread out over two weeks. This was for an entry-level position that required a bachelor's degree, though a master's was preferred.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Service Desk Analyst
It's a pretty straightforward process. They just want to know if you're eligible to work and if you've got any IT experience. They'll also ask about your customer service background and how quickly you pick things up. Overall, it was a pretty relaxed and good experience.
- What's your approach when a customer has a problem you're unsure how to resolve?
Visit Operations Assistant
Geneva reached out for an interview that lasted about 20 minutes. The interviewer mentioned they'd be in touch within a week regarding the outcome, but I never received any follow-up communication via phone or email.
- What made this role appealing to you?
Graduate Assistant
For this role, I just had one phone interview that lasted about 30-45 minutes. There were a few people in the interview, including the director, someone who is currently a GA, and another student. The director was really good about keeping me updated on things before and after the interview.
- Can you tell me about an event you organized at your college?
- What are the key elements that contribute to an event's success?
