I applied for the Email Marketing Specialist job and the process started well. I had a recruiter call which was good and I was excited. The recruiter said I would have a hiring manager interview soon and get more info that day. But I didn't get the info, so I followed up the next day. The recruiter then said the hiring manager was busy and they hadn't scheduled the interview yet. Communication was still bad and it felt messy. After a week of waiting and checking in, they told me they picked someone else who was referred.

So, the first round was with the manager, and I got this interview through a referral. They asked me about my past projects, some basic SQL stuff, and some behavioral questions. They also wanted to know my business perspective on the retail industry. It seemed like they were really looking for someone senior with deep knowledge of NoSQL databases and OLAP/OLAP concepts.

Got an email from the internal recruiter in December, set up the first meeting for early January. I prepped for days, the meeting went great according to the recruiter. I sent a thank you note the same day. Then, radio silence for 2 weeks, so I followed up briefly but still nothing. Two months later, out of nowhere, I got a generic rejection letter. This job was posted on LinkedIn several times, so I'm not sure what happened, but it felt like a poor process and company experience.
