Technical Coding Behavioral

The interview process involved a technical interview, followed by a coding interview, and then a behavioral round. We'll dive into your core experience with large-scale data/telemetry pipelines, ADAS/AV systems, vector databases, LLM automation, root-cause analysis tooling, and signal processing & anomaly detection. We also want to hear about your familiarity with ECU, CANoe, CANape, Linux, and embedded workflows. Additionally, we'll assess your system design thinking, your ability to build tools for embedded/AI/QA teams, your problem-solving style, and your ownership and end-to-end engineering mindset. Expect questions like 'Explain your projects', 'How would you design a tool for X?', and 'Tell me about a time you solved a complex problem.'

First, I had a 30-min chat with HR. Then, I did a Codility test. After that, I had a 1-hour phone chat with a senior dev about embedded systems and C/C++ or Java. Lastly, I did three in-person interviews in one day: one with the hiring manager (behavioral) and two technical interviews with live coding challenges on a whiteboard using C++ and C.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I had a virtual screening interview with HR, which was pretty straightforward. They looked over my resume and asked a couple of specific questions about things on it. Then, a week later, I had a technical interview that lasted about an hour. For the first 20 minutes, we talked about my resume and work history, and they gave me a little more info about the job. The other 40 minutes were all about CodeLive exercises, where I was mostly left to my own devices. The first part involved a coding problem, and the second part had multiple-choice questions about different aspects of the programming language used for the coding problem.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about a time when you realized your planned solution wasn't going to work and how you handled it.
