It was a pretty standard behavioral interview. They flew me out, covered my hotel, and gave me a rental car. Then I went to the shipyard for the interview. After that, they showed me around the shipyard. When we got back, they told me right then if they wanted to offer me the job.

Started off meeting HR in Groton, then we went on a pretty cool shipyard tour, it was quite informal. After that, they shuttled us over to the New London office. We waited at the front desk until our interviewers came to get us and took us to their offices for the interview. It was mostly personality questions, but I did get one question about a cantilever beam and how to limit deflection. Then, a younger employee took us to lunch and showed us around a bit. Finally, they brought us back to Groton for a quick exit survey.
