I sent in my application online in July 2019. About a month later, they rang me to see if I wanted to interview. They flew me out to Connecticut on a Sunday for an interview on Monday morning. It was a panel of 3 interviewers, and it was pretty relaxed, not overly formal. They mainly talked about the job and let me ask questions, but they did ask a couple of standard engineering interview questions and one I wasn't expecting. The whole thing lasted about an hour. They mentioned that if I didn't hear back in a couple of months, I should get in touch. I didn't, so I did, and found out they hired someone with more qualifications.

It was a pretty chill interview day, but it really took up the entire day. First, I talked to HR about citizenship stuff, then I interviewed with the department. We had lunch, and then it was back to HR to double-check my information. It took like a month and a half to get any kind of response after all that.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Do you meet the citizenship requirements?
  • Just some general questions, nothing too specific.
