Benefits Coordinator
The interview experience was pretty horrible. The first interview with the hiring manager was awful, or maybe he just didn't care and wanted to screen me out. He was rapidly going through questions, and it felt like I was rushed to get through my answers. I didn't really get to elaborate on my experience.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Ship Fitter
Had a casual chat about the role, including some basic math and blueprint reading. Things seemed to go okay, and I was told I'd be notified either way. It's been two months since then, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job. It's really hard to get in touch with anyone at BIW. Plus, it took them a month and a half to verify my employment from a previous company.
- Where do you see yourself in X years?
Software Engineer Intern
I met the company recruiters at a SWE Conference career fair and they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun. The interviewer was fantastic and very laid-back and friendly, making me feel at ease and making the interview easy and even fun. I definitely recommend checking them out if they are at a career fair near you.
- How would you describe your leadership style?
Systems Engineer
I had several calls with managers about my application. It was a really thorough and well-thought-out process. I'd definitely recommend them, they have a solid system in place. The questions focused on my resume and I got a clear understanding of what the day-to-day work involves at BIW.
