Initially it looked like they were in a hurry to hire but after clearing the first round which was taken by Senior Manager and Project Manager together, recruiter informed me that I have been selected but the next round is supposed to be with the VP India. I was very excited but the interview got scheduled 4times and got canceled at last moment. Then it got scheduled again and I thought this time it is going to happen but again the VP did not join the zoom call. I felt really bad because I waited a month. I wrote an email marking the recruiter and VP. Recruiter got so mad that she called me and spoke so unprofessionally that I can’t mention. Lastly they told me that this position has been put on hold for 2-3 months. Such a waste of time and such unprofessional and unpleasant experience with such a big company. Really pathetic.

The interview process had two steps. The recruiter kept me updated and gave me feedback after each interview. There was one phone interview and one in-person interview where I met several team members. I also had the chance to ask questions and learn about the team.

Behavioral

The interview process was very straightforward and included direct conversations with leadership that gave insight into the role and opportunities to make an impact at GDT. The representatives in HR were especially lovely, assisting with the onboarding and management of some logistical details during the holiday season which is greatly appreciated. Workday is used as part of the application process, which demonstrates the investment the company is making into its tools and people. Refreshingly, GDT is encouraging talent to challenge and change as rapidly as the world around us.

Behavioral Presentation

Had a great phone interview and an amazing in-person interview. After what seemed like a positive interview process, they stopped responding to my follow-ups. I'm disappointed they went silent, but the interview itself wasn't bad. Given the location, they shouldn't be dismissive of someone eager to work there. I'd still accept an offer if one came, assuming I wasn't already hired elsewhere.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They let me lead the conversation, asking questions based on what I said, fostering a great, informal dialogue.
