First, I had a quick 15-20 minute phone chat with someone from HR where we went over my resume and past work. Then, I went to HQ for the first round of interviews. It was back-to-back one-on-one chats with four different Inside Sales Managers, each lasting about 30 minutes. They asked general questions about my resume, my work history, and what I'm good at and not so good at. The next step was another on-site visit to HQ. This time, I met with an HR manager and the VP of North American Sales. The HR manager talked with me for about 45 minutes to an hour about the role and my skills. Finally, I had a shorter 15 to 30 minute chat with the VP of North American Sales.

The interview process had four steps. First, a short phone chat to go over the job and department. Then, about a week later, I had my first in-person interview, which was a panel interview with three managers from different departments. They asked common interview questions like 'What are your weaknesses?' and 'Why GC?'. I felt good about it and asked about the timeline for a decision. They said soon and mentioned they had many open positions. I followed up, but didn't hear back for a month. Then, they invited me for another panel interview, followed by a meeting with the HR director. Everything seemed to go well. I wasn't hired, and I suspect it might have been due to my salary expectations (around 45k at the time), which was a shame because I thought it would have been a good fit. The company culture seemed positive.

It took two weeks to get a phone interview. After that, it took a month to get an in-person interview. The communication was messy and unprofessional, and it shouldn't take that long to schedule an interview.
