Project Manager
Phone screener to get a feel for your past experience, what your salary expectations are, and if you're good with the job requirements. They looked at my resume, location, education, and experience to see if I was a good fit. They also gave a basic rundown of benefits and what the company expects regarding travel and teamwork.
- How comfortable are you with correcting other stakeholders?
Project Manager
It started with a 30 minute phone screen with the recruiter. Then I had a 30 minute phone call with the hiring manager. The final round was in person and had a few rounds, probably took 2-3 hours total. I met with the vp and a few directors during the final round. They gave me a verbal offer but then rescinded it.
- Can you introduce yourself and elaborate on your past experiences?
Project Manager
Applied via LinkedIn and received an unexpected email about an interview scheduled in two days, without any prior recruiter contact for screening or preparation discussion. The interviewers seemed disengaged, asking complex, multi-part questions and displaying a lack of enthusiasm, which negatively impacted my impression within the first five minutes. Although I had already accepted a superior position elsewhere, I proceeded with the interview out of courtesy, a decision I later regretted as it proved to be an unpleasant experience and significantly altered my perception of the company.
