First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at General Atomics.
Finance Analyst
The interview process was brief. They focused solely on behavioral and finance-related questions, without delving into my previous work history. They don't have many openings and are selective about who they hire.
- What aspects of finance are you keen to explore?
- Can you share a difficulty you encountered during your studies?
- What type of setting do you find most conducive to your learning?
Financial Analyst
I interviewed with 4 managers and the site Finance director. The interview was half a day long. Everyone was very polite and nice. It seems like a very good company to work for. Although I didn't get the job, I appreciated that HR personally called me back to let me know. I will be applying again to this company. They required 5 references for this position.
- Can you share an instance where you had to work with a challenging team member?
Financial Analyst
I met with the hiring manager for a 45 minute interview and then with a talent acquisition specialist for a 15 minute interview. The hiring manager interview was all behavioral and was used to gauge my interest in the position.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your understanding of the defense industry?
- What are your reasons for wanting to work at General Atomics?
