The interview process was good. They didn't ask for too many technical details. It was mostly about my previous experiences and a vibe check. It felt like they were looking for someone who would fit the team and the company culture. Overall, it was a positive experience.

So there's a few panel interviews with the team, the direct leadership, and sometimes managers from related groups. They'll ask about your skills to make sure you're a good fit and ask about competencies. The managers want to know how independent you are, how you work with others, and what drives you and how that aligns with their team's goals. Give good examples, be yourself, even if you're nervous it's okay. Trying to be stiff or rehearsed is obvious and can make you look like you lack skills or confidence.

It was a 3 on 1 interview process, mine was virtual. At first they seemed very nice but it suddenly grew to an interview of "how well did you pay attention in school". The main person who was asking me questions was dialing in on a specific law of mass transfer and though I could describe the meaning and equations, I couldnt remember the name.
