Behavioral Presentation

It began with a recruiter call, followed by a phone chat with two hiring managers. The final stage was an all-day onsite interview that kicked off with a presentation. The team seemed really nice and genuinely enjoyed working there, which made the whole six-week process quite pleasant. However, the same two questions were asked repeatedly, whether in the presentation or one-on-one discussions, which became quite tiresome. So much time was spent on these repetitive questions that I barely had any time to ask my own. During one question about a technology used at my current job, an interviewer was quite rude and dismissive, which was a negative experience. Also, unusually for an onsite interview, there was no lunch provided with team members, so I'd suggest eating a big breakfast. The job description didn't quite align with the role, seeming more like an IT Project Manager/Customer Success Manager, and the requirement for a biology PhD seemed out of place. Ultimately, while I enjoyed talking to the team and the hiring manager was kind, I didn't expect an offer as it wasn't a good match.

Behavioral Presentation

Had 2 phone screens, first with HR then with hiring managers. The last round was a 4 hour interview including a 20 minute presentation. They want you to talk about your past projects and how they relate to this role. Everyone was really nice and gave me a lot of positive feedback. The HR department was amazing, truly one of the best interview experiences I've ever had.

Presentation Behavioral

It was a long 5-hour interview with a presentation. A panel of people who didn't seem to have much to do with the job were there. The hiring manager got fixated on one question and seemed annoyed when I answered it. I tried to explain my experience and how it might not translate outside my usual roles and companies. He was very picky and a perfectionist. This makes me think there was already a favored candidate and they were just trying to eliminate me. It felt like a waste of time for everyone if they already had someone in mind. The panel members seemed randomly selected from different offices. I think this whole thing was a waste of my time. The panel didn't show much diversity for the location or the company. I presented well with a relevant presentation. I think I wasn't chosen because someone else who maybe doesn't have as diverse and inclusive experiences was picked, someone who could have connected better with customers. The job title also felt off, more like a Customer Success Manager than an IT Project Manager.
