First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Genedata.
Business Account Manager
I interviewed with HR. It was a standard procedure with typical interview questions. Unfortunately, despite being promised an update by a certain time, I had to follow up and was ultimately ghosted. No response at all, which felt very disrespectful.
- What makes you enthusiastic about this role?
Account Manager
The interview process for this role was really long and felt like a lot for the $115,000 salary. I applied in late January, and it involved an HR chat, talking to the hiring manager, a technical interview, an interview with a senior manager, and then a big in-person panel where I had to give a presentation to a bunch of people. By mid-March, before I even got to the final interview, I had already finished full interview processes at other companies I applied to *after* this one. I even got two job offers and had a third one pending, and I ended up taking a job. The people were great, but the whole process, how many steps there were, and how much I had to prepare just didn't seem to match the pay and what the job entailed. People should know it's a big time commitment.
- Could you explain the value proposition of the Genedata software relevant to this role?
Business Account Manager
The whole thing was super long and I had to do a lot of stuff. There were 5 interviews total, including one onsite where I met about 10 people. I also had to give a presentation. I talked to HR, a group of people, and someone about the contract.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join our company?
