I got referred by a recruiter and then had a two-person panel interview. They mostly went through my resume and asked about my past experience. They specifically asked about handling claims in certain jurisdictions that weren't in the job description. I haven't heard back since.

So I had this online interview with the head of the department, it went on for a while and he asked some good questions. Then the second round was in person at their office in Cologne. Before that, they gave me a task to do, which they seemed to like. The whole thing took about a month. About two weeks after the in-person interview, they asked for my documents. But then, just a few days later, they sent a rejection saying they couldn't offer the job to me or anyone else and that they'd keep looking. It was a really weird interview process, honestly, like they weren't sure what they were looking for and just wasted everyone's time.
