Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Geller & Company.
Senior Accountant
The interview process involved 3 rounds: first, I met with HR, then the team managers, and finally, the leaders. Two interviews were on Zoom, and one was in-person. The questions were straightforward and work-related. I passed the final interview, but then they informed me the team was relocating to another state. I've seen their ads elsewhere since then.
- Can you introduce yourself and describe your typical daily tasks?
- What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Staff Accountant
The hiring and interview process went smoothly. I met with HR first and then met with several other managers. The whole thing took about four hours and the atmosphere was a bit different than what I'm used to.
- Tell me about your greatest weakness.
Accountant
The hiring process was super fast. After getting an email from HR, I had a phone interview the very next day. Just a few hours later, they emailed again to set up an in-office meeting with the department. There, I met with a manager and some staff members. Each chat lasted about an hour. It felt pretty laid-back, mostly talking about my academic background, extracurriculars, and any questions I had about the role.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- How do you approach time management?
- Describe your preferred work environment.
