Claims Adjuster
Applied online, did an assessment, then had my first interview with a recruiter. The recruiter asked a lot about my background and explained the company and role. After that, I scheduled an interview with the department manager. The second interview was pretty relaxed, with more background questions, followed by a role-play exercise. A few days later, I got a conditional offer and background check forms, which I returned. A few days after that, they called and emailed to say my background check was fine and sent the final offer. I haven't started yet, but I'll get more info about equipment and training in the next 14 days.
- Can you tell us more about your background and experience?
- We went over several role-play scenarios.
Claims Adjuster
It was a pretty long hiring process, lasting about 6 weeks I think. First, there was a personality test. Then, they had this mock system where you had to show how you'd handle calls and document stuff. After that, I had a phone interview with HR, then another with a Claims supervisor, and a final one with a Claims manager. They also did a drug test (hair sample) and a background check, which is pretty standard for a big company like this hiring for roles that involve handling sensitive info.
- Can you share an instance where you had to handle a challenging customer interaction?
Claims Adjuster
It was a really intense interview with a few parts to it. First, there was a typing test which was pretty easy. Then I talked to the hiring specialist, and that chat was super chill and laid-back. After that, I did a job shadow for about an hour. Then came the interview with the manager. This one had harder questions, even though the manager was really nice and respectful. All in all, it's a pretty demanding interview process, so it's a good idea to be well-prepared.
- Can you tell me about your teamwork experience?
- What's your approach to dealing with an angry customer?
- How do you perform under pressure?
