Engineer
I had to choose an interview slot from the given options, and I got an email confirming my schedule. Then, two days before the interview was supposed to happen, they told me I was being offered a job. This was supposed to be my first chat with HR, so I found this really hard to believe and felt misled.

Integration Engineer
Major red flag!! TL;DR: I was low balled after they found out my current salary. Recruiter reached out and I was up front about the minimum salary I would make a change for. I went through the whole process and had a pre offer discussion with the HR about the expectation we agreed that it will be close what I told the recruiter on initial call. Everything seemed fine until then. Next day recruiter comes up with an offer that is 15K less than what we agreed on the day before. During the discussion day before I releveled my current salary and so they thought they could significantly low ball me. That was very unprofessional and major waste of time for me. Rejected the offer immediately and I lost all my interest in even negotiating because they seemed too shady to put my trust in and they are not willing to pay me the fair market value just because I was making less at my current company. (I was hired during early the pandemic days at my previous company so yeah my salary was below average) Another month of interviewing and got an offer from another company 20% higher than what I asked gecko on initial call. In retrospective I might have given them a lower expectation than what I am worth and they thought they could exploit me even more since I did not know my worth in the market. Dodged that one, phew!
- Can you present and explain a project that's relevant to this role?
Engineer
So I had two interviews. The first one was pretty much about my resume and my past experiences related to what this company does. Then the second interview was about two weeks later, and that was all about problem-solving skills; they gave me a real-world problem and asked me to figure out some solutions.
- Regarding a robot drive train issue, do you have any suggestions on how to make it perform better?
