First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GDMS.
Microsoft Administrator
Had a good initial chat with the recruiter who knew their stuff about what they were looking for. They were on time and flexible with my availability. Unfortunately, I never heard back after that first conversation, which was disappointing.
- Are you currently holding an active clearance?
Software Engineer
First, a recruiter called me and then scheduled an in person interview for me. I went to the interview about a week after that. I interviewed for 2 programs and it lasted about 2 hours.
- Explain what an Interface is.
- Define what a class is.
- What are the differences between Hashmap, List, and Array?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview included questions about technical topics and software technologies. They also asked about how to interchange data amongst the different systems in the company. The interviewer was nice and friendly. They also considered personality, willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams, and attitude towards change and pressure to deliver.
- Tell me about dealing with data exchange between two different systems.
