The overall impression of the company was very negative. The interview felt hurried, disorganized, and I had the impression I was bothering one of the two interviewers. Even for the aviation industry, it's a very lean organization; upon arrival, there was nothing to greet me except an empty room with just a sign-in book and a chair. It was a generic interview with standard questions about motivations and aspirations, followed by competency-based questions. Afterward, I was given a tour of the operations, which was great and a nice, unique touch to the process, but it was the only positive part of the day. I had to wait over 3 weeks for any feedback or update. When it finally came, it was a generic rejection template with my name inserted, and they made no effort to hide it. I received no feedback despite asking for it. It left a very poor impression overall, making me wonder that if they put so little effort into attracting new talent, how poor must their efforts be to retain it.

I had 2 phone interviews, one with the Hiring Manager and another with HR. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview in Zurich with the Hiring Manager and HR. The interview seemed to go well, and they said I'd hear back within 2 days. However, they never got back to me. I called HR after a week, but she was out, so I left a message and an email. I called again later, and she didn't even apologize for not following up. Not the most professional way to handle things.

It was a really nice and welcoming interview. The team did a great job making things comfortable and respectful, which helped me relax. They kept it structured but friendly, and really seemed to value talking things through and getting good answers. Mostly, they asked about how I've handled different situations before. I talked about my work experience, especially with leading teams, helping customers, and working with different cultures. It was a good chance to show how my background fits what they're looking for.

A professional and human process based mainly on reciprocal and open exchange. On one hand, HR presents the company, its values, internal workings, etc. On the other hand, the department head addresses all questions directly related to the position (questions more focused on technical/operational aspects).
