First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Garver.
Project Engineer
The interview process was pretty laid back. It involved looking over my resume and then a Q&A with some of the leaders in the department I applied to. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and seemed genuinely invested in helping me grow with the company. They also showed a lot of passion for their own work and for Garver.
- What makes you want to join Garver?
- Can you describe how a past experience influenced your design for this internship application?
- Tell me about a time you had to work with challenging teammates and what you learned from it.
Engineer
So basically, after the career fair, I went to their open house and then got to schedule an interview from there. It was about a 45-minute talk focused on my resume. The company's not great with emails, and honestly, it felt like they didn't really care about us because there were so many other people going for the same spot.
- Can you describe a project you worked on?
- Share an experience where you had a conflict within a group setting.
Project Engineer
It was a two step interview process. First was with people services and then a second round with the group manager and two senior engineers. One senior engineer had done the work I would be doing, and the other was going to be my direct senior engineer at the office.
- What are your career aspirations?
