Project Scheduler
The interview was quick and to the point. The interviewer was nice and asked the usual questions like why you want to work here. They said they'd let me know about the next steps after sending my profile to the manager, but I haven't heard back yet.
- Can you describe your experience with civil scheduling and highlight projects relevant to this position?
Talent Acquisition Manager
The job posting had the hiring manager's contact info, so I reached out with questions before applying. I didn't get a reply the first time. I reached out again, and the hiring manager said they get too many emails and won't answer questions before the first screen. I thanked them, applied at the end of October, and today (11/15) I checked their system to see I was no longer being considered as of 11/4. I didn't get any automated emails. This process reflects poorly on the Garney brand. You should do better.

Project Engineer
The whole thing took about a month and was pretty smooth. They had three interview rounds. They kept me in the loop the whole time, and it all felt super organized and professional. I had a great experience overall.
- Can you tell me about your past experience and career aspirations?
- Based on your assessment test, can you elaborate on these specific areas?
- Could you describe the work environment here?
Intern
It was a relaxed interview held at a restaurant where other candidates were also present. I was seated with four other students in a restaurant, and they led the conversation. The primary assessment seemed to be how we presented ourselves in that setting. They also appeared to be gauging our work ethic based on what we shared about ourselves.
- What are your thoughts on working extended hours?
