The interview was pretty quick, mostly standard questions about your medical assistant skills, including phlebotomy and any specialties you've worked in. Be sure to bring your resume and a computer because if you get hired, you'll have to complete a bunch of modules, like the standard HIPAA ones.

I had a zoom call with the manager and staff, then an in-person meet and greet with the clinical team. They gave me an offer over text first, and then I got the contract to review. During the interview, they explained reimbursement opportunities, clinic flow, and other practice specifics.

The interview process was very laid back, more of a conversation than a formal interview. The office manager was knowledgeable and informative. There wasn't much room for negotiation, and I have concerns about not being given the shifts that were promised, based on past employee reviews. I wasn't given a chance to shadow or speak with any of the current PAs to ask about their experience.

It was a chill chat about what they're looking for and if there are any openings. They asked about my schooling and what I've done before. Super nice people, and the interview was over the phone (not sure if it was because of covid or just how they do it).
