Had an initial chat with HR where we went over my CV. No technical questions were asked. Like many others, I was ghosted after this part even when I followed up multiple times for an update. For a company of Galaxy's size, this is really not acceptable. They either need more HR staff or to have some serious talks with the current ones. Based on this, I'd be hesitant to apply for jobs here again, as your time might be better spent looking elsewhere.

I had a quick 25-minute chat with HR to go over my background and the job details. It sounded like a cool gig, and I was ready to move on to the next step. I reached out after a week for an update, but honestly, never heard back. While I get that not everyone gets picked, ghosting people feels pretty unprofessional and disrespectful. It's a bummer, and I hope Galaxy Digital steps up its hiring game.

Four rounds total. Round 0 was a Hireflex Video, and I passed that. Round 1 was with HR for about 15 minutes, and they were really nice. Round 2 was a 45-minute technical interview with an SDE, which is where my journey ended. Round 3 was with a Senior SDE, and Round 4 was with the Head of Engineering.

So I think there were 3 rounds. The first one was great, the recruiter was super nice. The second one was alright, the hiring manager seemed nice but from what I could tell it was supposed to be a technical interview and they didn't actually ask any technical questions. It felt like they were just making it up as they went along. I got rejected even though they said I was a great fit, but I'm sure the notes didn't capture much because, like I said, the questions weren't good.
