First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gads Hill Center.
Intern
The first interview was a phone call where we talked about my past work experience and I got to ask any questions I had. Then there was a second phone call, this time a video chat, where we discussed the role in more depth. They also asked me some scenario questions.
- Could you share an instance where you made a mistake and what you learned from that experience?
- What are your thoughts on the different scenario questions asked?
Parent Educator
The interview was professional but relaxed. Usually, a director and supervisor conduct the interview. The questions were quite simple.
- Are you bilingual, as our client population is primarily Spanish-speaking?
Family Support Specialist
You will meet with the site directors for your area, and then there will be a parent interview. It's a pretty simple process, but make sure you ask about the job duties and how long the hiring process takes because it can take some time before you actually start working.
- What is your biggest weakness?
Chief Operating Officer
It was a really efficient and engaging process. I got to meet with a bunch of the leaders there. Setting up the times to talk was super simple. The reference checks went fine and I got the offer pretty quickly.
- What aspects of Gads Hill Center's mission appeal to you and make you want to join the team?
