It was great! I felt welcomed and cared for. They listened intently to my answers and also answered any questions I had. One of the best interview experiences. The questions were more situational than hypothetical.

The interview process was super good. They were clear about what the process looked like and made sure to provide clear expectations. The two interviews I did were with two separate people, and standard questions were asked.

I had a screening interview done by Megan Hardy to do an initial assessment to introduce Gabb as well as the position details. The following week I was invited to the company to do an in-person interview and meet with three members of the development team. During that time I was able to learn more about the product that they are working on as well as get an insight into the technology used. I was asked to do a whiteboard skills assessment on string anagrams.

Behavioral

The HR person was super disorganized. They were supposed to interview me but emailed 10 minutes late saying they were behind and needed to reschedule. Then, something came up with a funeral, so they had to postpone again. After we finally had the interview, they said I'd hear back in a couple of days for another screen. When I followed up the next week, they told me they went with someone who had just a little more experience. This person had only been there a few weeks and was clearly new to recruiting. My resume clearly laid out my experience, so they could have easily saved me time by just reading it once if they were looking for more experience. Interviewing is draining, so I'd suggest to the Gabb recruiter: do your homework upfront.
