It was a quick and straightforward hiring process. I had several in-person interviews with various VPs and the CFO. Everyone I met was great to work with and interview with. The interview itself felt easy and relaxed, more like a conversation. I think it would be beneficial to also interview with potential peers to get a real feel for the day-to-day of the role, beyond what senior management describes.

This is a pretty standard interview process. It's important to do your homework on the company beforehand so you have a good grasp of what they're about. The interview will really hone in on how you engage with customers and your knack for sorting out problems. Having previous customer service experience is definitely a plus. But, if you don't have that experience, having the right ATTITUDE can really open doors for you. What we mean by the right attitude is things like being selfless, humble, responsible, and showing respect to everyone.

I applied online and got a call the same day to schedule an interview. The next week, I went to a G6 property in Orlando, FL for a panel interview. They gave me a place to stay on-site for free, and the property was in great shape, with the staff showing real hospitality. The interview was with the area's Operations director, a relief GM, and the local property GM. They worked well together and made a very professional impression.

Be aware that there might be high turnover here, as they often seem desperate to fill management positions. There's a rather lengthy personality evaluation. You can get through the interview easily with textbook answers and a big smile. The hiring process sticks to what's in college textbooks. The company's new motto is to hire for personality, not skills.
