I heard about the job through a friend and got referred to the HR contact at G2 Crowd. We had a quick chat on the phone, and then I was sent some tests to complete. After I finished the tests, I was invited to the office for several interviews with three leaders and the CEO, Tim. I also had to retake the test while I was there. Soon after, I got the offer and accepted!

Behavioral Presentation Other

Started with a preliminary call with the hiring manager to get a sense of each other. After that, I was sent an IQ test which I passed. The recruiting team then arranged a mock presentation for me to give to the hiring manager and one of his colleagues. They gave me prep time and detailed instructions on the presentation's structure and what the sales leaders were looking for. Apparently, the attendees didn't get the same instructions, as I was told there would be a strict cutoff time, but that wasn't the case. I received feedback that was mostly positive, though I was marked down for not having a stronger closing. Thankfully, the internal miscommunication about the mock presentation instructions didn't hurt my chances. I had a final conversation with the Head of Sales, which also went well, but it took about 3 weeks to set up. I got an offer a couple of weeks after that. It was a pretty straightforward process, though not the smoothest.

I applied for an account executive role and the recruiter sent me a generic message to communicate - fair enough. I asked for further feedback multiple times and have bee ignored by the recruiter. I understand you are dealing with multiple candidates, but if the candidate asks for feedback you should provide something concrete. The candidates you speak on the phone with spend many hours preparing for the interview(s), so it is expected you spent an extra 5 min to provide useful feedback. Your time is not more valuable than the candidates'. Greatly disappointed.
