Associate Consultant
The interview process had 4 rounds. Round 1 (Aptitude + Programming) included general aptitude like arithmetic and verbal questions, along with basic programming questions in Python and SQL. Nothing too tricky, mostly fundamentals. Round 2 (Technical – Basics) they asked about my projects, OOP concepts, SQL queries, and Python fundamentals. Towards the end, there was also one aptitude question. Round 3 (Technical – In Depth) was the most detailed round. They went deep into SQL, especially things like pattern matching, and did a deep dive into my project tech stack, including my major project. They also asked conceptual questions like ATM architecture and how an ATM works, plus a few work-situation based questions. Round 4 (HR) was simple and chill. Questions about family background, hobbies and interests, expected salary, and general discussion.
- Can you explain the General Architecture of an ATM?
- What is the difference between DROP and DELETE?
- Can you show an example of Exception handling in Java with code?
Customer Success Manager
I had five interviews with the team lead, head of department, and two teammates. It felt repetitive and didn't offer much insight into the actual day-to-day. It was a bit disorganized. I was surprised there was no assignment, as I would have liked that to see the solutions platform.
- In terms of handling complaints from customers, what is your approach?
- Regarding the risk of customer churn, how would you manage that?
Software Engineer
First I talked to the HR recruiter. Then, the SDE liaison for the job did a phone technical interview. They were nice and it wasn't too hard. We chatted about the job to see if we were a good fit. The last part was an in-person interview. I met 4 people for a super technical panel interview where we talked about SQL, Rails, and other specific things about the role. After that, I met with a Project Manager and a Project Lead. Those were technical too, but mostly to see how I'd fit with the team.
- Can you describe your process for diagnosing a failing web service?
- How do you typically diagnose a failing web service, especially when starting with general ideas and needing to get to specific causes?
Human Resources Generalist
The hiring process for this job was pretty standard. I got contacted by the office manager first, and then a VP did the phone screen. After that, they called me the next day for an in-person interview with three VPs. It was good to meet the management team. They mostly asked normal questions, but it felt like they wanted free consulting. For instance, they asked for ideas on recruiting IT staff and keeping employees. It was a bit weird and felt off, especially since they ended up saying they were 'going in a different direction'. My take is the company isn't very stable and doesn't get what employees need. They really need a professional HR person for tough issues and to support staff.
- What are your strategies for finding IT candidates?
- Can you suggest ways to recruit candidates for your IT roles?
- What are your ideas for employee retention?
